How to Viigo Rss Reader,Podcasting,News Reader User Guide

Hi all users and readers,

This is the simple guide of podcasting cum Rss reader application called Viigo, which you can have on your blackberry or Windows Mobile as it's in my top 5 and apart from just Rss feeds and audio news and podcasting it also support multiple social accounts like Twitter, YouTube, Google Reader but here I am going to show you how to download the application, manage your feeds and more importantly how to subscribe The Phone Show Chat audio podcast from this application so lets start it now.(I have done this procedure entirely on my BlackBerry Bold and scren shots belongs to it as I have not tested this procedure on any windows mobile so it can be different than this..)

There are two ways you can download it to your phone both the OTA download as well as you can download to the computer and transfer to your mobile. In addition to this, there are two more way you can download it via text message and email.

To Download Viigo.

Open your mobile browser and type http://get.viigo.com and download it from there or go to computer and type http://www.viigo.com and you can download from there and here it gives you two more option you can download by either provide your phone number or email address and the download link will be delivered to you.

To Create An Account with Viigo.

Now you can create an account only within the application installed in your phone as there is not any other option available to create an account online from computer but of course you can manage your account from computer, once you created it.

So for creating the account open the installed application from your mobile and follow the below procedure.

  1. Once you open the application, it will ask for terms and conditions and ask to agree or disagree.

2. After accepting the licensee terms, it will take you to the setup wizard which will show you the note as the product is in beta version etc.

3. When you click the next tab, the next screen will ask you for 3 options 1. New User 2. Existing User and 3. Forgot Username and Password.

4. Select the New User Tab and click the next and fill the required details like USERNAME , PASSWORD and EMAIL ADDRESS.

5.The next screen display thank you message and ask you to the select Go to Viigo Now or Show me some Viigo hints(quite helpful)

6. Now it will take you to your account where you can manage all your feeds and social networking accounts.

To Manager Your Account With Viigo.

You can manage your Viigo account from computer after created from installed application from your phone.

  1. To manager your Viigo account from computer type http://www.myviigo.com and you will be asked for your username and password.

2.Once you provided valid username and password, it will take you to your account and there you can see all your Rss feed, web feed and OPML feed now here you can add or remove all the feed links.

  1. Now here to subscribe the The Phone Chat Show, you need to click on the tab ADD WEB FEED in the upper left corner of the screen under the ACCOUNT tab.
  2. Now you need to enter the Rss feed link for The Phone Show chat http://3lib.ukonline.co.uk/sshow/sshowchat.rss in the URL field and below of that you need to provide your username and password and click on the subscribe tab and all set.
